Forgotten in a wooden trunk, the recipes of our Cappadocian grandmother Elisso gave the stimulus to Giannis and Eleftheria (the grandchildren), to start their own brand of Greek traditional delights in the year 2000.

This is how Zannis Greek Delights was began.

It was a new project, full of memories from the years when the paternal house smelled of fresh fruit and vegetables with which Grandma Elisso prepared the pastries, keeping the recipes of her own Cappadocian grandmother Eleftheria unchanged.

With great care, love and faithfully following a tradition that was passed down from generation to generation, Giannis and Eleftheria managed to prepare homemade traditional spoon sweets keeping all the freshness of the raw materials unchanged, without adding sugar, preservatives, chemicals and coloring substances.

In their cottage industry, in Nea Karvali Kavala (an area with a long culinary tradition thanks to the refugees who settled there from Cappadocia), the spoon sweets are prepared in open pots, with the strictest specifications, using honey and fresh fruits and vegetables from local producers of Macedonia and Thrace.

In the years that have passed, the efforts to produce more and more quality products and the creation of new taste proposals, have led to the creation of an excellent confection, the UNIQUE INTERNATIONAL chocolate bar with a whole sweet olive! A natural product that combines the nutritional value of the olive with the beneficial properties of good chocolate.
